A lot of you were probably curious to know why all you were getting thrown 404 redirect errors and ‘this website is not secure’ messages.
Over the last couple days, I started the process of migrating my blog back to WordPress from Ghost. While I loved the simplicity, responsiveness, and quick load times of Ghost, unfortunately the product quite pricey and I’m not in a place where I can spend that much money to run a website.
As you can see, my most important articles have already been moved over and adjusted for the difference in formatting between the two platforms. Over the next few months, I plan to roll out more content as I get more information.
One of the major differences you’ll see is that this blog will be much more personable. While I still plan to include information about pre-nursing at BRCC and nursing at BRCC, I also wanted to include more self reflective thoughts about my journey as well. Part of the reason why I started this blog was not only to help other people who may be seeking information about the Baton Rouge Community College Nursing Program but also to include a person’s perspective on what it’s like to go through the process.
